Cupa Pro Dog 2026 16-18 October | Băile 1 Mai - Ștrandul cu Valuri, Oradea

Three days of competition for handler-dog teams. Examinations on Friday, Mondioring on Saturday and Sunday.

🐾 FRIDAY, 16 OCTOBER - TSAC and BH

BH is where everything else starts: without it you cannot enter any of the higher examination levels for working dogs. Dogs can take it from 12 months, any breed, any size.

It has two parts, and the first one is unforgiving. Obedience is scored out of 60 points and you need 42 to pass. One additional command costs you 1.5 points, a second one 2.5, and if the dog still doesn't perform, the exercise is a zero. A sit on the down command is docked just as sharply.

The second part takes place out among people and isn't scored at all. The judge simply watches how the dog behaves in traffic, around joggers, around other dogs. And you don't get there unless you've passed the obedience part first.

TSAC, the Romanian sociability and aptitude test, covers the basics. It's where most owners start.

TSAC and BH judge: Călin Ciora

🏆 SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, 17-18 OCTOBER - Mondioring, categories 1, 2 and 3

Mondioring puts obedience, jumps and protection work together in a themed setting that changes from one trial to the next. Teams don't know exactly what is waiting for them on the field, which is what makes it hard to win and good to watch.

The categories build on each other: from 1 to 3, the number of exercises, the distances and the self-control asked of the dog all go up.

The decoys are the people in the suit, the ones running all day. Their job isn't decorative - whether a dog gets tested fairly depends on how well they work.

Judge: Stefano Baudizzone (Italy) 🇮🇹

Decoys: Alexandru Lăcătuș, Cătălin Banghea, Cătălin Pintea

If you're coming just to watch, Saturday and Sunday are the days.
