This document sets out the rules for using the mantrailing.ro platform (referred to as the "Platform" or the "Site"). How your personal data is processed is described separately, in the Privacy Policy / Data Protection Notice, which forms an integral part of the relationship between you and the Platform and is subordinate to the Association's general GDPR Policy.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

1.1. By creating an account, completing an online form, or otherwise using the Platform in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

1.2. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1.3. Acceptance of the Terms concerns exclusively the rules for using the Platform and does not, in itself, constitute consent for the processing of personal data. Where processing is based on consent, this is requested separately and explicitly, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

• User - any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the Platform.
• Volunteer - a person involved in the Association's activities (mantrailing, search and rescue, events), whether or not registered with an account on the Platform.
• Registered User - a user who has created an account on the Platform.
• Content - any text, image, video, file, event, article, or information published on the Platform.

3. Account Creation and Use

• Access to certain features requires creating an account.
• Upon registration, the User undertakes to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date data, and to notify the Platform, within 10 days at the latest, of any change to this data.
• The User is responsible for keeping their access credentials (email and password) confidential and for all activities carried out through their account.
• Representatives of the Association will never ask for your account password through unsolicited messages or phone calls.
• The Platform reserves the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the applicable legislation, or whose provided data proves to be false, inaccurate, or incomplete.

4. Role of the Platform

• mantrailing.ro is a platform for information, registration, and publication of content related to the Association's activities (courses, training sessions, events, search and rescue activities), and is not the direct organizer of all promoted events, except for those explicitly marked as organized by the Association.
• The Administrator does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of information published by third parties and is not responsible for the actual conduct of events organized by other entities.

5. Rules regarding content published by users

When uploading, transmitting, or publishing any content (text, images, video/audio files), you are solely responsible for it and undertake not to publish materials that:

• contain illegal, threatening, abusive, indecent, or violent text;
• collect the personal data of other users without right, or restrict their access to the Platform;
• use automated programs or devices to monitor or copy the Site's pages without prior written authorization;
• have pornographic, racist, xenophobic, or antisemitic content, or incite hatred against a category of persons;
• infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties, contractual rights of third parties, or a person's right to privacy;
• promote the sending of unsolicited messages (spam);
• are defamatory, slanderous, obscene, abusive, or harassing towards other persons;
• violate any other national, European Union, or international legal provision applicable to the published content;
• involve unusual, unreasonable, or disproportionate use of the Platform's infrastructure;
• interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform.

If you breach these rules, you are fully liable for any damage caused to the Platform or to third parties, including any related court costs or enforcement costs.

You may not copy, sell, redistribute, rent, sublease, or otherwise transfer your user account to a third party, without the Administrator's prior written consent.

6. Publication and moderation of content

• Published content may be subject to a moderation process before being displayed.
• The Administrator may approve, reject, or delete content if it does not comply with these Terms or applicable legislation; where possible, the user is informed of the measure taken and may request clarifications.
• Fields completed for publishing content are generally public; content entered may be viewed and shared by other users or visitors of the Platform.
• You are responsible for holding all rights necessary over the content you publish.

7. Intellectual property rights

• You retain the copyright over the content you publish on the Platform.
• By publishing, you grant the Administrator a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote this content within the Platform and its associated channels (social media, Association promotional materials), for purposes related to the Association's activity.
• The Platform's structure, design, and proprietary texts are protected by copyright legislation and may not be copied, reproduced, altered, modified, distributed, or used for commercial purposes, in whole or in part, without the Administrator's prior written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Administrator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, except where the damage is caused by a culpable breach of the Administrator's obligations.

9. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the beginning of the document. Continued use of the Platform after the publication of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the new version.
