Write the name of each numbered landmark

Dog in left lateral view — exterior, muscles, skeleton and organs Vector study after the Ellenberger, Baum and Dittrich plates: a standing dog, head to the left, deep chest and digitigrade limbs. The four layers use the same contour: exterior with body regions, superficial muscles, skeleton and organs.

  2. Masseter (musculus masseter) — On the cheek, between the zygomatic arch and the mandible.
  3. Brachiocephalicus (musculus brachiocephalicus) — The band on the front of the neck, from the head to the humerus.
  4. Sternocephalicus (musculus sternocephalicus) — On the underside of the neck, from the sternum to the head.
  5. Trapezius (musculus trapezius) — On the withers and the upper part of the thorax, above the shoulder blade.
  6. Latissimus dorsi (musculus latissimus dorsi) — On the sides of the thorax, behind the shoulder blade, from the loin to the upper arm.
  7. Deltoideus (musculus deltoideus) — Over the shoulder joint, from the shoulder blade to the humerus.
  8. Triceps brachii (musculus triceps brachii) — The back of the upper arm, from the shoulder blade and humerus to the point of the elbow.
  9. Biceps brachii (musculus biceps brachii) — The front of the upper arm, mostly on the medial face; from the side only its edge is visible.
  10. Pectorals (musculi pectorales) — On the chest, from the sternum to the humerus; from the side their edge shows below the thorax.
  11. Serratus ventralis (musculus serratus ventralis) — On the sides of the thorax, below the shoulder blade; it shows as a band with “teeth” on the ribs.
  12. External abdominal oblique (musculus obliquus externus abdominis) — The lateral wall of the abdomen, from the last ribs to the linea alba.
  13. Epaxial muscles (longissimus) (musculus longissimus) — Along the vertebral column, above it, from the pelvis to the head; in the drawing, the band below the trapezius and latissimus.
  14. Gluteus medius (musculus gluteus medius) — On the croup, above the hip, on the wing of the ilium.
  15. Gluteus superficialis (musculus gluteus superficialis) — On the croup, behind the gluteus medius, toward the tail.
  16. Biceps femoris (musculus biceps femoris) — The lateral and rear part of the thigh, from the ischium to the stifle and hock.
  17. Semitendinosus (musculus semitendinosus) — The rear edge of the thigh, from the ischium to the tibia and calcaneus.
